Two weeks ago after reading an interesting passage in Change Your Thoughts, Change your Life: Living the Wisdom of the Tao I was moved to try an experiment that the late Wayne Dyer talked about in his book, go a week without subjecting yourself to any violent images, directly or indirectly.
Today I talk about how I did with that challenge and how it has impacted me going forward. The results of the experiment were interesting but the transformation afterwards is what continues to fascinate me.
Initially I encouraged listeners to try it for themselves. Hopefully after this recap the impetus will prove to be stronger. You won't want to miss today's episode.

There is a perception that the world has become noisier; that there are fewer places to retreat to in order to experience quiet. Whether or not that believe is valid or not is irrelevant. There are still plenty of places to go to experience quiet. Some are actual places and some are a little less literal.
Today I talk about places to go to experience absolute quiet. Regardless of where you live you have the ability to avail yourself to one or all of these options.
Serenity is just around the corner. Come find it with me.

"The important thing is to never stop questioning...Never lose a holy curiosity" - Albert Einstein
When you were younger, a child, you questioned everything. You wanted to know all about your world. You had questions. Now you are all grown up and know it all right? The heck you do, no one knows it all and no one should want to. Learning and growing bring a life alive. Having a curious mind served you as a child and now it is even more important as an adult.
Today I talk about the benefits of curiosity and seven ways to cultivate it.
What is one thing you are interested in knowing about.
Spend 30 minutes today exploring that one thing mentioned above.

Today I discuss and instruct you in a gratitude practice that will have a longer lasting impact than a journal. Come hear all about it.
I have to admit that I use the word autopilot way too much. However, it just seems to be fitting for explaining how most people go through life, simply responding and not taking enough time to really understand how to consciously respond to the world around them.
When I was younger I had the pleasure of working on an adolescent in-patient psychiatric ward counseling emotionally challenged teens. One of the methods I used in helping them understand themselves is actually something that is beneficial for most people. I have changed it roughly but the core benefit remains the same. Come hear all about it.

Each of us at times find life overwhelming, sometimes unsatisfactory. It may be just a piece of life that is out of whack. Regardless of which it is there is a proven method for getting things back on track. It's called course correction and I will talk about it today.
Maybe it's because I have the mind of a scientist, thanks to my Dad, but there are ways to approach life that leads to immense satisfaction. Course-Correction is one of those ways. In today's episode I talk about how to use this method to reach the goals you set for yourself. I will explain what it is and better still, how to use it to methodically plan for success in your life and with your goals
