In this 6th chapter, a Vinjaya warrior is shown visiting Pugaar, along with his consort, to whom he shows the
various parts of Pugaar and curates the Indira Vizhaa (described in last chapter), he then proceeds to show
her the 11 dance forms that Mathavi performs as part of the ceremonies. Many such divine beings are said to
visit the city to view the festival and Mathavi's dance.
Kovalan is upset about the end of the festivities and about Mathavi performing public dances and so she
decorates herself with many intricate jewelerry, which are described in details by the poet, to pacify him. The
they visit the seashore, as is the custom after the end of the Indira Vizhaa, and their journey is described in
detail, showing the various shops and scenes along the way. The chapter ends with a remark that Mathavi,
while resting under a punnai tree in the seashore along with Kovalan, takes a yaazh from her friend
