The DC Universe streaming service launched it's Titans weekly show. Titans follows Robin (Dick Grayson), Raven (Rachel Roth), Starfire, Beast Boy. They bond together to form the new young superhero team, The Titans.

So far the few episodes we've watched are good. It is a darker/grittier world in the series. The characters are still looking to find themselves and forge their superhero identities. It has been promised we will see Starfire's classic outfit before season's end.

Have you watched Titans yet? Let us know how you like it in the comments below.

Glass is the third installment of M. Night Shyamalan's Unbreakable or Eastrail 177 series.  Unbreakable introduced us to David Dunn who learns he has superhuman powers with the help of Elijah Price.  Elijah has the nickname of Mr. Glass due to the brittleness of his bones and how easily his body is damaged.  He comes to discover David from pursuing his theory that if there are people who are as frail as him, there should be those on the other end of the spectrum who are superstrong and impervious to injury.

Split was revealed to be set in the same series as Unbreakable when you see the cameo of David Dunn near the end of the movie.  Split follows the character of Kevin Crumb.  Kevin has multiple personalities with one of them being the Beast.  The Beast is a transformation of Kevin's psyche into a merciless and cannibalistic sociopath with superhuman abilities. Due to his childhood abuse, the Beast wants to rid the world of those who have been untouched by suffering.

Glass sees all three (Elijah, David, and Kevin) incarcerated in the same mental facility.  They are being treated for delusions of grandeur.  Eventually Elijah convinces Kevin to bring the Beast forward and help him escape.  David then plans his escape so he can hunt down the two villains and return them to justice.

The Unbreakable series for me is the truest form of superhero movie.  There is very little CGI and the characters are much more believable as heroes and villains than in the Marvel & DC films.  Glass will complete the ultimate superhero trilogy.

It looks like Chris Evans is hanging up the shield for good and will be leaving his role as Captain America after Avengers 4. He has portrayed this iconic Marvel Comics character for 10 films. Ever since the first Captain America film in 2011, Chris Evans has been synonymous with the character. He will leave big shoes to fill.

The speculation on him leaving the role stems from a tweet he made.

"Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. It was an emotional day to say the least. Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful. "

It looks like he is ready to move on to other roles. His portrayal of Cap was spot-on. He not only had the appearance, but the mannerisms and demeanor. His tweet was heartfelt and appreciative. We hope Chris Evans has a long and successful career. He will always be Steve Rogers in our eyes.

I am probably in the minority here, but I like the DC Superhero movies. I thought Justice League was actually pretty good. I was a little skeptical that they would be able to make Aquaman a relevant character in the movie. Arthur Curry seems to be the butt of many jokes in the comic book fandom world. Then they announced Jason Momoa would be the one playing Aquaman and I became very worried.

My fear was misplaced as Jason Momoa did a great job portraying Aquaman in the Justice League movie. DC then announced that Aquaman would be getting his own solo title and my heart stopped. If the Aquaman movie bombed after Batman vs Superman & Justice League under-performing at the box office, it could spell doom for DC Superhero movies.

Judging by this trailer, it seems my fear was misplaced once again. The graphics are amazing, the story-line is compelling, and Jason Momoa has the right amount of humor and charm to make Aquaman a like-able character. This may be the movie that changes the tide for DC Superhero movies. I certainly hope so as I would like to see many more stories from many more DC characters in the future.

Venom is one of the more iconic and loved Spider-man villains. When it was announced Venom would be getting his own movie, fanboys world-wide rejoiced.

Then it was announced Spider-man would not be mentioned at all in the movie. Also, no symbol would appear on his chest. At this point I started to get worried. How can you have a Venom movie with absolutely no connection to Spider-man.

I still held out hope the movie would be well written and faithful to the character. Shortly into the movie, my hopes were dashed.

The origin of how and why Venom (and the other symbiotes) came to Earth was completely changed. I can get past that. They also based it in San Francisco. OK, Eddie Brock did spend some time in San Fran. I was getting tired of New York based super hero movies anyway. They also changed Venom's personality and demeanor. That is where I lost connection.

Venom is not a humorous character. It felt like Sony tried to steal a page out of Marvel's book. They wanted to mix action and humor to get a blockbuster movie. I have no issues with that, but I feel Venom was not the character to drive the humor. It felt to me like the only thing related to Venom in the movie, was the title.

Talking to other audience members, I found I was in the minority on those views. I think if you watch Venom with no prior knowledge of the character, you will probably like the movie. If you go into the movie expecting to see a version of Venom similar to the comic books.... you might be disappointed.

I am usually able to suppress the fanboy in me and watch the movie objectively. I was not able to do that with Venom as they departed so drastically from the Venom I know from the comics. The movie is still on pace to break box office records for an October release. That along with the fact that the audience members we got reviews from all seemed to enjoy the movie, tells me Sony will likely go forward with their other Spider-man related movies.

I am crossing my fingers that Morbius doesn't stray too far from the source material.
