In our exposition of the Book of Romans, we have begun looking at the “all things” that work together for our good, as taught in Romans 8:28-30. These things are listed in verses 29 and 30, as follows: foreknowledge, predestination, calling, justification, and glorification. When we paused the message yesterday, we had already examined the foreknowledge of God, and were in the middle of learning about the doctrine of “predestination.” Today we continue looking at these wonderful doctrines, which are the heart of the gospel message, and learn that it is THIS message that needs to be preached from the pulpits today. The “good news” is that, because of “all these things” that work together for our good, all of God’s elect children will one day be in heaven with Him.
