As we continue exploring the idea of “sacrificial living,” as set forth in Romans Chapter 12, we find that one area we need to reform is in our thinking. We ought to think like children of God! We begin today by looking at how we should NOT think about ourselves, learning that our lives ought not to be self-centered but Christ-centered. Then we move on to see how it is that we OUGHT to think about ourselves, and we find that we ought to think “soberly”, which simply means that we esteem others better than ourselves and try to have a Christlike mind in everything.
