As we go through our exposition of the Book of Romans, there are sometimes verses that “jump out at us,” and maybe take us down a “rabbit trail” that isn’t necessarily on the topic at hand. In Rom. 14:11, we read the following: “For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.” This phrase is found in two other places in Scripture.
