The Holy Spirit was given at the glorification of Jesus. This glorification happened during:
- His death
-His resurrection
- His ascension.
And He continues to glorify Jesus in us and through us.
The Holy Spirit is not a symbol, but a person, as real as anyone else is.
📌We looked at the Holy Spirit as:
1. The Spirit of Jesus
2. Another Helper
3. The Father of the new creation
The Holy Spirit is also our seal. God’s mark of ownership and approval. (Ephesians 1:13).
He doesn’t just secure us…
He “doxazō” (glorifies) Christ in us
and causes our lives to reveal Him.

There was an appointed time when God sent His Son not just into the world, but into our hearts.

And from that moment, perfection began its work in us.

Galatians 4 reminds us that though we were once under tutors and guardians, we’ve now received the Spirit of His Son, crying, “Abba, Father.”

Perfection is no longer something we’re chasing; it’s Christ maturing in us until His life becomes our expression.

🕊️ “But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth His Son... that we might receive the adoption of sons.” - Galatians 4:4–6

• Jerusalem as the Starting Point: After Jesus's crucifixion, his followers formed a community in Jerusalem, forming the first Christian community known as the Early Church of Jerusalem. 
• Pentecost: For most Christians, the event of Pentecost is considered the birthday of the Church, when the Holy Spirit descended upon the disciples and marked the emergence of the Church. 
• Spread of Teachings: The disciples, and later Paul the Apostle, began spreading the teachings of Jesus to both Jewish people and Gentiles, leading to the establishment of Christianity as a separate religion. 
• Formation of Communities: As the faith spread, early Christian communities developed in various locations, such as the Antioch church where the term "Christian" was first coined. 
• Growth through Persecution: Even when early Christians faced persecution and had to scatter, it often led to the expansion of the Church as they shared their faith in new places. 

📌Jesus did not come on His own accord, He came empowered by the Holy Ghost.📌 The first thing Jesus did while starting His ministry was to acknowledge/identify the presence of he Holy Ghost.📌 The anointing is for a reason.📌 Jesus moved in the power of the Holy, Jesus did nothing on His own accord.📌As a believer you must know that you are anointed! And if you don't understand your identity in Christ people will try to give you a different identity.📌 You must always stand firm on the prophesies of God concerning your life.📌 The Holy Spirit is the Father within.📌 The Fatherhood of the new creation is what expresses and makes the believers anointing much more prominent.📌 The same anointing Jesus had is available to you through the Fatherhood of the new creation (Holy Spirit).📌 The anointing has a permanency, nobody can remove it from you.📌 The primary essence of the anointing is to preach the gospel (to make people know Jesus).

📍The reason why we are created is for worship.📍 Worship is a place of total surrender to the Lord. In the place of worship you are not thinking about your desires, but about JESUS!

 2. Trust in God's Timing: David's restraint in the cave demonstrates his trust in God's plan and timing. He knows he is destined to be king, but he refuses to take matters into his own hands. This teaches us to wait on God's timing and not try to force his will. 

3. Returning Good for Evil: David's actions in the cave are a powerful example of returning good for evil. He chooses to bless Saul, who is trying to kill him, rather than retaliate. This shows the importance of showing love and mercy, even to our enemies. 

 Hebrews 1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

Even in the cave, God was orchestrating a comeback.
While David hid, heaven moved.
When it looked like a delay, it was divine positioning.

From the stronghold to the strong tower
God goes before you.

Just like He raised an army around David in Adullam,
He’s surrounding you with provision, protection, and purpose.

When scriptures tell us in Gal 2:20, that

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me;” what does it mean?
