Pastor Josh Rhone speaks on September 25, 2022, at Zion Church, a United Methodist congregation, in York, Pennsylvania. This weekend Pastor Josh preaches from Luke 16.19-31, one of Jesus' most interesting and confounding parables. In the parable Jesus talks about two men, whose lives and experience in the afterlife is very different. One man, the Rich Man, seems to have everything –– every opportunity, every luxury, everything anyone could ever want or dream of. The other man, Lazarus (a man whose name means 'God has helped') has nothing in this life. He has sores that he can't take care of. He eats scraps from the Rich Man's table. Yet, there is a great reversal as the parable continues. Join us as we talk about life, our ambitions and dreams, and eternity.
