The WWE Draft is behind us and the shows have separate rosters once again. So this is when things start getting good, right? Not exactly. Owen and John run down a missable SmackDown featuring Shorty G, an okay Raw featuring a lot of Hispanic talent, and the latest news in wrestling.

Oh, did some wrestling promotion have a “draft” this week? That’s nice, but we’re covering the draft for the only true sport: the XFL! I’m not kidding, we talk a lot about Vince McMahon’s vanity football man stand league. But we more than make up for it with in-depth coverage of this week’s AEW Dynamite and NXT! Hey, they can’t all be short episodes.

John, Oscar and Trace used to think professional wrestling was a tragedy, but now we see that it’s a f—-ing comedy! Welcome in to our dark and twisted world as we cover an exciting AEW Dynamite; an unfocused NXT; a nostalgic NWA Powerrr; and the film that brought down the society we all live in. (Joker spoilers are from 5:50 – 10:30 if you want to skip those.)

Somehow Owen and John survived watching one of the worst pay-per-views of the year, as Hell in a Cell left the crowd and the internet furious. They discuss just how bad things got, plus how nice the changes to SmackDown’s presentation on FOX are and how the ratings fared on Wednesday and Friday.

It’s the biggest wrestling week in years, including at ProWrestling.Cool. Heel Turn moves to its new slot of Monday nights after Raw, with a new sister podcast debuting later in the week. But Owen and John are here to cover all the latest news from ROH, CMLL, AEW in Canada, and CM Punk possibly working for FOX. Plus an in-depth rundown of this week’s WWE RAW.

On the final Wednesday episode of Heel Turn, Canada overtakes the news! Cops are working themselves into shoots, NXT has a terrible TV deal, and AEW still hasn’t announced their Canadian one. Plus the usual recaps of Raw, SmackDown, and NXT! (We lost the audio about Dakota Kai’s return, but “Go To Kick” is an amazing finisher name.)
