Hurricane season is approaching fast and there already are severe and extreme drought conditions throughout the West that are raising the risk of wildfires. Electric companies undergo power restoration and business continuity planning year-round to prepare for emergencies, and now is the time for all of us to prepare for natural disasters and other emergencies that could cause power outages.
