“You know, it's very possible. It sounds difficult to coordinate, it sounds like there's a lot of pieces. But I would just say, trust your intuition. Trust yourself, this is what you want to do, right? Because I think I've always wanted to and it's like, well, I'm not sure how to do it. I don't know if I can do it. Like, what would people think? You know, and I think like, yeah, the world has changed, but it's still hard, right? I think you still need to just push forward, always if you want to do something.”

Diana Liao, LMHC is a licensed psychotherapist in private practice. She helps adults in NY and NJ navigate challenges related to life transitions, identity, self-worth, relationships, and career. She's particularly passionate about working with the Asian, Pacific Islander, and South Asian (APISA) communities on issues of belonging, marginalization, and other complexities that arise from living in the US as a minority. In addition to being a therapist, she speaks, leads interactive healing circles on mental health, and co-founded Bridges Mental Health, a mental health resource for the Asian, Pacific Islander, and South Asian community in the NYC-area, which aims to destigmatize mental healthcare and help individuals connect with culturally competent
