This fortnight, Ros and Laura bring you an info packed episode with Fair Director for the Australian branch of: The Other Art Fair Luke Potkin. We know many of our listeners are keen to get their work out there and have possibly thought about doing an art fair or a design market / events so we thought it would be a great idea to get Luke on the show to have a chat about what the fair experience is like for Artists. 

Coming from a background in events and interior design Luke talks about the environment of support that the fair aims to create in welcoming both its attendees and featured artists alike. He also shares tips on how best to set up your stall, what to bring along and how to maximise your experience as a stallholder. Luke touches on why artists might consider applying for a fair like The Other Art Fair and describes the benefits to artists careers if they choose to follow this particular opportunity. 

We discuss how to put your best foot forward when attending events like this and how you can maximise art sales. Hopefully by the end of listening to this episode you are convinced to take the next step and apply to showcase your work at the next event. Or at least pick up some valuable tips that you can keep in your back pocket for when you are having sales conversations with potential art buyers.
