Pouring rain wasn’t enough to stop 11-year-old Peyton “Beans” Factor (Chickasaw/Seminole) from playing her best game last month. She’s now a two-time Women’s Oklahoma Golf Association Girls’ Junior State Champion. Factor joins a list of notable Native golf champs like Notah Begay III (Navajo) and Rickie Fowler (Navajo) as well as a long list of amateur Native golfers and fans.
