I took a Caribbean vacation with just my hubby when my baby boy was 8 months old, and I had a LOT of feelings to process before the trip about the decision to leave him at home with grandma. Once we got on the trip, I had even more feelings to process, which were different than expected, and now that it's been a couple of months since the trip, I can really reflect back on these feelings in a more neutral way.
