Lewis checks in this week from the west coast for the 101st episode of The Rantcast. Our host discusses Hurricane Ian that ravaged through Florida last week. As Lewis watches the news, he realizes that the only thing to distract us from the usual news stories that are covered constantly in the news (court cases, politics, etc.) is some kind of major catastrophe and/or natural disaster. One story Lewis watched on the news was about how homes in Florida are going to be rebuilt after the latest hurricane. Well maybe, at this point in time, it might be best for everyone in Florida to live underground covered by concrete. 7 feet of concrete, at least. How come everyone is wearing plaid on TV? Our host was never a fan of plaid. He tries to dress up, which is why he deserves to be on a top 10 “hey, he tried” list for best dressed. Our host also explains just how much you can learn from fantasy football. For example, the hatred you can have for an individual you don’t even know! Apologies to the fans in Tucson, Arizona for the iPad not having enough juice to read all the rants that you submitted live and in person. Don’t worry! Our host read the rest of them here, on the Rantcast.
The live rants come from this past weekend’s shows at the National Hispanic Cultural Center in Albuquerque, NM and the Fox Theater in Tucson, AZ.
Lewis’ Grammy-nominated special, "Thanks For Risking Your Life" is available now!
