It’s the second book in the Crimson Ridge series (Vanessa presented book 1 “Chasing The Wild” in episode 79) and it was teased as the nastiest book Vanessa had started to read! This book finds Briar Lane running away from LA to a forgotten family cabin in the woods to escape her unfaithful boyfriend. Briar thought she would be alone, but she found a big, tattooed, ex-bull rider named Stormand Lane…or as she knows him, Uncle Storm. He’s not her blood uncle, he’s her dad’s estranged adopted brother. But still an uncle! While sharing a one room cabin, Storm makes sure to be VERY educational with Briar. This forbidden love story was super steamy, but it will have you wishing they stopped referring to each other as niece and uncle much sooner than they did. Be brave, put on your leather cuff, and have fun at our birthday party because it’s just a book!
