WISHLIST: (6:55) Alison wants Wash Balls, they last up to 1000 washes. Lulu's wishlist is a lie-down seat on tonight's flight to Hong Kong.

LULU’S 10K DAY - HONG KONG: (11:05) So Lulu is actually going to Hong Kong for work, but sadly is not doing any of these things. In her dream Hong Kong day she stays at The Upper House. Brunch with bottomless Dom is at Ozone at the Ritz-Carlton. Stress-reducing, junk-bashing fun is had at Ikari Area. Lord Stow's egg tarts at Expresso give her a boost, then she's off to nightclub-esque boxing gym Lights Out. A quick jaunt to the Wan Chai area for some souvenir shopping, Lulu wants a Lucky Cat. Lulu end her evening with a Chef's Pairing at Lung King Heen and quirky cocktails at The Old Man.

ALISON’S 10K DAY - DAYTONA BEACH, FLORIDA: (23:47) Alison is headed to Daytona Bike Week. She buys a 2019 Kawasaki Z650, an "Open Road Girl" rhinestone studded tank top, and Harley-Davidson Boots. A custom 10K patch from Iron Thread on the back of her motorcycle jacket completes her look. She rides to the Hilton Daytona Beach Resort, then throws a buffet lunch for the other bikers from Hidden Treasure Restaurant. Alison may or may not have entered the Miss Cacklebery contest. President's Row tickets to the American Flat Track, come with a complimentary buffet dinner, WOO-HOO!

LULU’S 10K DAY - DELHI, INDIA: (13:47) Lulu spends over five grand for two nights at the Oberoi Hotel, the 5-star hotel with guaranteed 5-star air quality. Lulu heads for Lamb Korma at Ashok Meat Wala. She's forgetting about Keto so she can eat some naan. Lulu heads to the Holi Festival of Colors. Once her all white clothing is covered in gulal, she heads to an ayurvedic spa for Synchronized Abhyanga  and Shiro-Dhara. Dinner is the Chef's Tasting Menu at Indian Accent, named one of Time Magazine’s 100 greatest places 2018.

ALISON’S 10K DAY - ROME, ITALY: (24:55) Alison stay at the Palazzo Manfredi, in the heart of ancient Rome. She opted for the Gourmet & Ferrari Package, which includes a - you guessed it - Ferrari rental for the day. Alison hires photographer Andrea Matone to capture this dream vacation. The Colosseum and Forum, a hot air balloon ride, a cooking class at a Roman farmhouse learning to make (not-Keto) pasta, give plenty of photo-ops.
A private viewing of the Sistine Chapel and an Evening Hammam at El Spa round out her day in Roma!

WISHLIST: (22:47) Alison wishes for the Vera Mona Color Switch Solo, it's a sponge in a tin for removing eyeshadow color from your brush. Matt is wishing for $10,000. Wait, you don't get given 10K for being on the show? Lulu wishes she would remember to pin her socks together when she puts them in the wash.

LULU’S 10K DAY - TUCSON, ARIZONA: (30:33) Lulu is making a dream come true by heading to wellness resort Canyon Ranch. She's excited to visit this cell-phone free campus and to take some creative workshops. Rocking this “Don’t talk to me, I’m on a cleanse” tee, she gets into an introspective mental detox with the help of her new Smythson of Bond Street journal and Mont Blanc StarWalker fountain pen. A gratitude practice with personalized notecards filled with heart confetti sent to friends and family concludes her day.

ALISON’S 10K DAY - SZCZECIN, POLAND: (49:25) It sounds like Streisand. Kind-of. A rented Mercedes through AutoEurope takes her to the ODSAPKA cottage. Black cumin bagels for breakfast at Bajgle Króla Jana, then a private tour of the Underground Routes of Szczecin. Alison picked Streisand, I mean, Szczecin, for the purpose of visiting the Crooked Forest, where the trees are slightly tilted in the oddest way. It's likely a result of gravitational pull, like the vortexes in Sedona that Lulu and Ash frequent IRL. Alison gets dinner from Wierzynek delivered to the forest where design company Pracownia Wielkie Rzeczy has transformed the forest floor into a magazine cover-worthy tablescape.

INTRO: (00:00) It is a guest googler episode, and we have Brian Baez with us this week! He's been a 10K Dollar Day fan since the beginning, so we know he's going to be a great addition. Plus he brought some wine from Publix for us so it's going to be a good time.

Lulu is obsessed with fresh's rose face mask. So all three of our obsessions are masks...we're The Three Masketeers! We love a good pun, or, just a pun in this case.

WISHLIST: (16:24) Brian is wanting the Ember coffee mug which keeps your coffee at the perfect level of hot from the first sip to the last. Alison is wishing for Unicorn Tears' Wine which is an unbelievably pink rosé. Lulu adds Brian's glasses to her wishlist, which he bought from Privé Revaux.

BRIAN’S 10K DAY - SIEM REAP, CAMBODIA: (23:00) Brian heads to Siem Reap, which is the gateway to the temples of Angkor, but as of late has become a hip destination for all types of travelers. He is very excited to stay in a villa at Phum Baitang Resort that has its own plunge pool! Breakfast at New Leaf Eatery, and a little purchase of hiking boots and a Canon DSLR camera, and Brian is on his way. He takes in the Angkor temples with a photography tour and a hot air balloon ride at sunset. A six-course meal awaits him at The Embassy , followed by a visit to the Spa Temple and a Cambodian street food tour. 

ALISON’S 10K DAY - CUZCO, PERU: (50:50) Alison stays in a luxury cocoon that can only be accessed by zip lines. Seriously. She takes a private tour of the Ollantaytambo and Pisac Ruins, and a helicopter tour of the Sacred Valley. Alison visits an Andean adobe home for some stargazing, before trying some coffee from beans digested (and passed) by an animal. True story.

LULU’S 10K DAY - YOSEMITE, CA: (12:24) Lulu stays at Chateau du Sureau in the California’s Sierra Nevada mountains. Lulu grabs a keto-friendly breakfast at Tangled Hearts Bakery . A professional tactical flashlight, Merrell® Sugarbush Waterproof Leather Boots, and thermal underwear prepare her for a hike through the snow to see the famed Firefall. Lulu hikes back to the hotel to enjoy a keto-friendly aka nearly-carb-free tasting menu and wine pairing at Erna’s Elderberry House. Because FYI, wine is keto-friendly. She's going to do a glass with every course, then, obviously.

ALISON’S 10K DAY - NEWBERG, OREGON: (24:18) Alison visits this wine country region of the Willamette Valley. She stays at her namesake, The Allison Inn & Spa. First class black car service from Black Lane takes her to a Hot Air Balloon Ride/Champagne Brunch/Wine Tour excursion and a Drift Boat Fishing Tour. Back to the hotel's spa for their "Mimosa Massage" complete with nourishing champagne oil. Alison does the chef's table experience at the hotel's restaurant for $1200, which is a record for most expensive dinner we've ever done on 10K Dollar Day.

WISHLIST: (13:27) Alison's wishlist comes true...she wished for a wine foil cutter, which guest googler Melanie gave to her today. Melanie is wishing for a handheld mixer. Alison is drunk on Amazon so adds it to her cart to send to Melanie. Don't drink and Amazon, folks.

LULU’S 10K DAY - ISTANBUL, TURKEY: (16:43) Lulu visits the only city in the world that spans two continents. It is both in Asia and Europe. Lulu stays at Raffles Istanbul, and gets a suite with access to their concierge club. Lulu wants to find all the sweets at the Grand Bazaar. For lunch Lulu heads to afternoon tea at Lavinia Lounge. A very short rendition of "Istanbul (Not Constantinople)" introduces Lulu's goal of bringing the song back. It involves #notconstantinople banners and a photographer from Shoot My Travel to take pictures. Finally, Lulu heads to Agatha Christie's favorite room at the Pera Palace to read her $4,000 first edition of Murder on the Orient Express.

MELANIE’S 10K DAY - FIJI: (47:32) A shopping spree at Everything But Water prepares our guest googler for her trip to the Fijian Mamanuca Islands. She stays at Castaway Island Fiji, the island where the movie Castaway was filmed. Melanie adopts sharks at My Fiji Sharks, which she hopes to see later on her Fiji Shark Dive. The Shell Market Excursion with a traditional kava ceremony is followed by the Modriki Tour with champagne brunch,  Lastly, Melanie grabbed dinner at the 1808 Restaurant.

INTRO: (00:00) Alison and Lulu recorded this week's episode just like they did the previous one, before 9 am, without having had any wine. This makes them feel off their game a little bit. Alison sounds really chipper somehow though, and Lulu starts a sing-along about opposites attracting. So still on their game, we'd say.

OBSESSIONS: (5:20) Lulu laughs when Alison says she's obsessed with an ice cream cake log from Publix. Talk about a cheat day. Luluis obsessed with Just the Cheese bars which are keto-friendly!

WISHLIST: (12:07) Alison wishes hard for this leather sectional from cb2. If someone could buy her that and a leather cleaner kit, that'd be great. Lulu wishes she could watch intense things by herself at night.

LULU’S 10K DAY - HO CHI MINH CITY: (24:29) Ho Chi Minh City, the city formerly known as Saigon, is 10K Dollar Day's first trip to Vietnam! Lulu stays Park Hyatt Saigon and gets a "first class" car and driver through MyDriver. Lulu loves pho, so breakfast is at Pho Hoa. She takes in the Golden Dragon Water Puppet Show. For lunch she heads to Anan Saigon - which means "eat, eat" - to have more pho and a bahn mi. A show about ancient Vietnamese tribal cultures, Teh Dar, is followed by a private street food motorbike tour.

ALISON’S 10K DAY - DERWEZE, TURKMENISTAN: (34:00) Alison picked this place for a very specific activity, though when she realized that this city in the middle of the Karakum Desert had next to know stay options, she rented a Gulfstream V from SexyJet to serve as her "hotel in the air". So to the reason she decided to go to this area. Burning of natural gas has created a fire crater dubbed by locals as the Door to Hell, which Alison takes a tour of that "dares you to get close enough to take a selfie". She then heads to the So Spa at Sofitel Oguzkent Ashgabat. Dinner is from catering company Merdem, because there aren't many options in the desert, or in hell for that matter.

INTRO: (00:00) Normally we record in the evening, after some wine, "high on life" - as Alison puts it. But it's 9am. There has not been any wine.

OBSESSIONS: (5:34) Alison is obsessed with her new Steve Madden backpack, it's perfect for traveling! Lulu's obsession this week is also travel-related (it's like we are a travel podcast or something)! She recently took the opportunity to upgrade to business class.

WISHLIST: (10:27) Alison wants an essential oil car diffuser. All Lulu wants is another zombie drink, it's a rum-based drink that she had recently in St. Martin.

ALISON’S 10K DAY - GSTAAD, SWITZERLAND: (13:49) Alison stays at super exclusive hotel The Alpina Gstaad. It has "single-handedly redefined luxury and Alpine chic". First things first, Alison goes on a dog sled ride with Husky Man. A ride at the International Hot Air Baloon Festival is followed by a wine and cheese tour. Alison enjoys the hotel's Six Senses Spa before indulging in a seven course tasting menu at Sommet, and a stop in to the Cigar Lounge.

LULU’S 10K DAY - MONTREAL: (25:53) Lulu is staying in the Executive Suite at the Ritz Carlton. Luckily they allow dogs because she is adopting a dog through Animatch! By the way, it's "Who Rescued Whom?" not "Who Rescued Who?". Lulu heads to Engaufrez-vous  which she claims translates in to "get some waffles into you". Next she goes exploring in the Underground City. It's 20 miles of tunnels and 2,000+ businesses, all underground. Lunch is at Canada's oldest deli followed by a whiskey flight at the Burgundy Lion. Lulu heads to Igloo fest with some bracelet flasks full of whiskey, you know, to keep warm! Lastly, a tasting menu with wine pairing at Toqué.

OBSESSIONS: (7:05) Alison is obsessed with benefit's the POREfessional face primer . It's Our guest googler Dinty is obsessed with fried basil leaves. She made some for Alison and Lulu and now they are obsessed too.  Lulu's long-running obsession is The Divine Comedy.

WISHLIST: (11:24) Dinty's wish is to see the Northern Lights. Alison is on a makeup streak, as she is wanting this color changing foundation. Lulu's rant about luggage allowance leads to a decision that her wish is for partial ownership in a private jet.

ALISON’S 10K DAY - RONKS, PENNSYLVANIA: (19:00) Alison went to Ronks because of the Red Caboose Motel which has thirty-eight unique cabooses. Her breakfast is "The Hungry Engineer" at Casey Jones. A visit to the Li'l Country Store and Miniature Horse Farm is followed by an Amish Buggy Ride with Ed. A five course meal with wine pairings at TÉ at The Inn at Leola is indulgent, yet she is still far from spending 10K. So Alison buys a miniature horse and all the equipment needed to get it home to Florida from Pennsylvania. SHE BOUGHT A HORSE.

LULU’S 10K DAY - ZANZIBAR: (29:50) Lulu stays at the Park Hyatt Zanzibar in the Royal Residence Suite. She packs her day full of tours, beginning with a Spice Tour, followed by a tour of Changuu Island, also known as Prison Island. A walking tour of UNESCO World Heritage Site Stone Town includes a stop into Zanzibar Curio Shop which is apparently like Aladdin's Cave. Curiously Lulu buys some Merrell Water Shoes in order to go to dinner at The Rock where you walk out to the small island on guide rocks in the water. She ends her day at the food market at Forodhani Gardens.
