In this day and age, most first interactions happen online and it’s not just the presence of the bad but also the absence of the good that forms the perception we have about others, meaning: if we can’t find someone or their profiles are outdated, we immediately form an option about this person and draw conclusions along the line that they are not up to date or their skills are not up to date and so forth. And whilst there is so much conversation and controversial discussion around whether social media is good or bad, a waste of time, truth told: it can be an extremely effective tool (if used correctly) to build your presence proactively, to take control over the narrative and with that, the perception people have about you which then shaped the types of opportunities that come to you (or not). I’ve experienced that many times over - mainly through LinkedIn these days but I also had big successes for my coaching business early on, being proactive in Facebook groups. Lots has changed since then … clearly but the question is - how do you use social media, more specifically LinkedIn to your advantage, to build your brand and business without being overwhelmed and spending hours on the platform? This is exactly what this episode is all about. It is a recording from a workshop that I recently hosted and as it was a paid workshop, it’s not the full recording but you will still get a good understanding and hopefully some very tactical tips tricks and tools how you can make Linkedin work for you! ___________ Want to become the Trusted Authority in your field by building and monetising your expertise?
