Viewing 2020 with Gratitude
I look at 2020 with so much gratitude for the information and integration of the Enneagram and how I’ve been able to use it to navigate really tough stuff.
When I think back 12 years earlier to 2008 and the Great Recession, the way I handled that messy year was a complete and total shitshow.

The numbers we go to under stress.
When it comes to stress and the Enneagram, we shouldn’t just be looking at our type, because—although our main type doesn’t change—the way that it gets expressed can.
Case in point: each Enneagram type goes to another number under stress. And it almost looks completely different than our obvious displays of character.
Beyond knowing where we go under stress, another thing that’s really important is understanding the stress numbers of all the other types.
