Klavan is an editor of the American Mind, my editor there, and I can vouch for both his intelligence and coolness. I was psyched to see a piece of his spark such shockwaves through the E-Right.

It led to a full feature section in American Mind, “How the Right Recovers Art” addressing the much-discussed topic of why we lack right wing culture institutions, at least ones that people respect.

My response piece was called “Politics is Not Downstream from Culture,” contemplating Breitbart’s maxim in light of my personal experiences with Chief Keef.
