We’re back with a breakdown of our second newsletter, “Encouragers, Enemies and Errors,” and thanks for coming along for the podcast ride! We’re trying to get caught up, having a podcast reading for each of our newsletter issues, so we’re posting these every few days until we get caught up!

In this episode, we break down how our sports card spouses and significant others can either become encouraging for our collections, enemies of our collections or enablers! Interestingly, we explain how to turn an “enemy” into an “encourager,” and we explain how the “enabler” is far worse than the “enemy”!

Brent from “Brutus on Baseball” also pops in to share a great story about one of the greatest error/non-error card sets in sports card history!

With Fantasy Baseball season well underway, we look at the Average Draft Positions of some players to determine some undervalued rookie cards we should consider picking up!

My “Best Rookie Football Cards Ever” article has every great rookie card from every season, dating back to the ‘50s, with links to those cards on eBay. So I shared the top-12 rookie football cards that were clicked on in the month of March. There are definitely some interesting ones on here, with one of the newest NFL superstars at the top!

Patrick Imhoff checks in with some great tips on joining card breaks, adding some excellent advice for people wondering if breaking is for them!

One of our favorite sections, “Cards That Make Us Happy,” looks back to 1975 Topps and a card that is just “Too Legit to Quit!” because of who might be pictured!

MLB Network listed their Top 100 Players Right Now list in March, and after tracking down all their rookie cards, I found some interesting data that should affect our collecting going forward!
