 Jeremy McCrea joined Raymond James in 2015 as an energy analyst with more than 18 years of experience exclusively covering the energy sector.

He has previously held similar positions at AltaCorp Capital and National Bank Financial. 

McCrea holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary and is a CFA® charterholder.

Since 2004, Mr. McCrea’s  views on energy are frequently sought after by institutional funds, as well as various media outlets including The Globe and Mail, National Post, Bloomberg and BNN.

We sat down, and among other things discussed falling oil prices, retail vs. institutional investors, out of favor sectors & echo chambers, but overall, how to be a better investor as it relates to the energy sector.
