I'm rounding out the hiking travel story series with a story of my own, and this story is a big deal because it's basically the origin story of my love for hiking - which, spoiler alert, didn't happen all that long ago.

- the driving reason why I hike is different from all of our other guests, and will probably make you raise your eyebrows a bit!

In addition to just being a great hiking tale, my hope is that my story will show you that it's never too late to dive into a new activity and you might be surprised at a passion you find once you do.
