When you’re sitting down with your not-yet-born children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren, what are you going to say about 2020? And when you read through the not-yet-written history books outlining the COVID-19/coronavirus global pandemic of 2020, what lens will you be looking through? What words will you use to describe this unprecedented year? What sorrows, joys, and silver-linings will you share?
2020 was the year that literally felt like the world had stopped spinning. We quickly learned to have all of our plans written in pencil so that they could be erased, put on hold, or put aside. We learned how to be bosses, workers, teachers, personal chefs, and sanitation engineers,..sometimes all at once. We learned that toilet paper, sanitizer, masks, and wipes are treasures more valuable than gold. There was a LOT to process, to grieve over, to cry about, to be frustrated about, and to rejoice over. What lessons did you learn in 2020? In episode 127, we share the 7 lessons we learned from a year that did not go as planned.
