Another episode of the #HTNeurotechseries on HeadsTalk  today. A conversation that covered the many aspects of neuroscience and technology. We get a glimpse of a ‘day in the life of  Neuroscientist’ and a summary of the many ongoing projects. 

My guest today Prof. Renaud Jolivet, the Full Professor at Maastrich University, provided me with a comprehensive explanation and definition of some of the terminologies I came across during my research for this series; and put them in context and everyday use.  It was enlightening to listen to Renaud talk about his ongoing Neuroscience research work and projects - gives one a look at what’s to come in this space. 

Renaud has an impressive career, which when you listen to the episode was borne out of a sequence of accidents and incidents that lead him down the path of Neuroscience. He is the Chair of Neural Engineering & Computation at Maastricht University as well as the nominated representative for individual Researchers and Innovators at the European Commission's ERA Forum. Finally, he is an elected member of the Board of Directors at the Organisation for Computational Neuroscience.
