During the frigid winter of 1878, the small town of Dexter, Maine was the site of a horrifying bank robbery. John Wilson Barron, a prestigious member of the community and the treasurer of the Dexter Savings Bank, steadfastly refused to disclose the combination to the safe… a decision that cost him his life. Police didn’t find any evidence at the scene and quickly ran out of leads. It would take almost a decade to get to the rest of the story…
