I had a great chat with Mandy Podlesny, who is a keto coach. Mandy suffered a freakish knee injury that sent her life spiraling downward for more than a decade. She had surgeries, tried all sorts of meds, went through the whole frustrating healthcare system mill that some of us have become all too familiar with. And none of it worked. Been there, done that, too. She was miserable and found herself entering some dark places in her head, too. She felt like shit, looked like shit. Until one day she got a wakeup call of sorts from her father of all people, and she finally resolved to take control and find the way to get better and she found out about ketones. The results were almost immediate and rather astounding. She focused on eating meat, vegetables, and healthy fats. Her inflammation drastically diminished and her energy skyrocketed, leading to a complete turnaround in her outlook on life. You’ll hear her infectious enthusiasm and ebullience in our chat.
