15. How to Sponsor During the Summer

Summer is a great team-building season because it offers unique opportunities to connect with people and build relationships. Plus, you’ll have some extra tools, such as a new catalog and special incentives from your company.

In this episode, you’ll learn how to get people interested in your opportunity, how to share the information about the opportunity, who to focus on during the summer, and how to help people get started with their businesses.

If you want to build a team, you have to talk about team building, and one of the ways you can do that is by including team building as part of your answer to the question, “What do you do?”

Most direct sellers answer that question by talking about their products. I help you create a team-building answer to this question by giving you this formula:

company + how you help your customers + how you help your team

I’m an XYZ consultant. I sell _______ and help my customers ________, and I help women build XYZ businesses alongside their families.

Most people will be more active on social media during the summer because they are busier and more active. Summer is a great time to connect and engage with people on their posts and to show the lifestyle of a successful consultant on your profile and in your VIP group.

I give you specific suggestions on what to post and how to talk about your business and success without being spammy or braggy. 

I also talk about how to share the opportunity through passive and active opportunity events and suggest who you can focus on to invite to these events.

I talk about the importance of a structured onboarding, launching, and training system.
