174. Adrenals and Thyroid: Your Internal Swat Team with Jenn Pike

Jenn Pike is a Functional Nutritionist and Medical Exercise Specialist. She specializes in women’s health and hormones and is the Bestselling author of “The Simplicity Project” as well as her two cookbooks The Simplicity Kitchen and The Simplicity Body. She is the founder of the global and revolutionary women’s health programs Then Hormone Project, Synced and her Simplicity Body Movement series. These programs are dedicated to teaching women what they should have known about their bodies all along; the incredible healing abilities, wisdom and power their bodies hold and how to bring them to life.

This episode kicks off with Jenn explaining the purpose of our adrenals and the signs and symptoms one may experience if there is any sort of dysregulation.  Almost all areas of our lives can affect the performance of our adrenals…..stress, the exercises we do, and quality of sleep to name just a few.

Jenn shares the importance of finding a provider that is truly willing to listen to you and that really cares about your well being.  Finding the root causes and issues with adrenals will require looking at how you want to feel and how you are currently feeling.
