Instead of choosing to suppress our emotions, it's best to deal with them in the moment. Jessica shares the following steps to do just that: .

  1. Acknowledge the feeling that you are experiencing
  2. Identify the emotion
  3. Accept the emotion
  4. What is the emotion trying to tell me
  5. Have a conversation with God in the moment
