This month, we walk the Road to 250 with Paul Westermeyer talking the Grand Old Man of the Marine Corps, Archibald Henderson. Paul is a historian at History Division and a subject-matter expert on the details of Archibald Henderson’s five decades in the Marine Corps, 38 of which were spent as Commandant. Paul helps us dive deep into Archibald Henderson’s legacy and the historical context surrounding his accession through the ranks to eventually becoming Commandant.
