On today's episode, financial journalist Govindraj Ethiraj talks to Dharmakirti Joshi, Chief Economist at CRISIL about aspects of India's macroeconomic landscape such as Private Sector Investment Opportunities, Global Trade Dynamics, Monetary Poilcy and much more and exploring the potential trajectories for 2024.
DK Joshi has extensive experience in macroeconomic analysis, medium term assessment of Indian economy and forecasting as well as in public finance issues at the central and state levels. He has been a consultant to the state governments on fiscal issues.
At CRISIL he has been involved in consulting assignments which cover demand forecasting and assessing the macro economic scenario and its implication for the corporate clients. He has also been involved in analysing and monitoring the impact of macro economic shocks on the economy. He has been a part of the faculty that trains senior regulatory officials from the South Asia region. He is also the co-chairman of Economic Affairs Committee of Bombay Chamber of Commerce.
