This past week was Independence day and it seems the world has gone mad. Most of the country is in the midst of a heatwave. The press is having a field day with our candidates in a Presidential election that costs too much money. But it’s also going on for too long and leaking into a previously-declared politics-free summer. The GOP candidate is doing his darndest to erase all the progress of the 20th Century with the worst of takes on pretty much every social issue while the Dems are coming to grips with their candidate’s health. That said, there is still a functioning government out there, you just need to find it.

We have one listener rant this week and it’s a special one from Greg Douglass. Why only one? Because his story as a military veteran attempting to navigate his health issues post service is so very relevant to hear on the 4th of July.
