The '96 Rumble was the first Rumble to feature theme music for each wrestler as well as the first in which the Royal Rumble match itself was NOT the main event on January 21st in Fresno, California. But it was the main even in our hearts as stars of the era fought for a WWF Championship title shot including Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Jerry Lawler, Bob Backlund, Jake Roberts, Yokozuna, Vader, Shawn Micheals, Diesel, the British Bulldog, Owen Hart and many more!
