Ahead of the announcement on the latest GDP data from Bank Negara, we speak to Firdaos Rosli, Head of Economic Research at the Malaysian Rating Corporation Berhad (MARC), on his expectations for the economy in 2021. MARC forecasts that the overall GDP in 2020 will contract by 5.7%, with a rebound of 5.6% growth in 2021.
