We return to the events of Jesus’ arrest, death, and resurrection – my personal account of the story of Easter.

Jesus, the King of Glory, wants to enter individual lives and graciously re-arrange them for His purposes, to set things right. He is not and add-on, but the center, the cornerstone upon which a life may be built.

The March 2009 congregational meeting included updates on various ministries, a report on the results of a congregational survey, and a financial report.

God is concerned with healing 'the whole man'; and yet, sin is the central target of his concern, to repair our separation from Him.

Jesus has come to inaugurate the Kingdom of God on earth in the lives of men and women who will embrace him as agent of the Kingdom. The Gospel of the Kingdom which Jesus preached teaches us that our only true hope for righteousness, peace and joy will come as we surrender to God and receive him as Lord. Only then will we be delivered from the powers of this age and our own broken, sinful ways and enter the Kingom of His dear Son.

Rather than approach our study of Luke and Acts through the lens of our traditions and experiences, Geno asks us to join him in a fresh exploration, a new discovery, a reconsideration of Luke’s unfolding message about God’s work in the world then and now through Jesus and His People.
