Although this race resulted in a resounding one-two finish for McLaren-Mercedes it will always be remembered for the acrimony surrounding McLaren's decision to give the win to Oscar Piastri. In so doing, the McLaren management stood by a pre-race decision to reward the driver who led off the line - itself an extraordinary plan - and threatened Lando Norris with reduced further support if he didn't cede his race lead to Piastri. Peter Windsor talks about this in our latest podcast - and about the fractious race of Red Bull's Max Verstappen, who eventually finished P5. Sir Lewis Hamilton drove another good race to finish third, ahead of Ferrari's Charles LeclercT, Verstappen and Ferrari's Carlos Sainz. This podcast covers the full three days of the Hungarian GP, as well as a short, tyre-related interlude prior to the race on Sunday.
