Round three of the 2026 F1 World Championship - the all-new F1 championship - resulted in a second consecutive win for Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli.  After making a slow start from the pole, Kimi benefitted from a lap 22 Safety Car deployment to vault past his team-mate, George Russell, McLaren-Mercedes' Oscar Piastri and Ferrari's Charles Leclerc.  He pulled away impressively at the re-start and was thereafter never headed. Piastri, whose medium Pirellis had been in good shape when he was strangely called in for hards on lap 21, finished second; and Leclerc was third for Ferrari, ahead of Russell, McLaren's Lando Norris and Sir Lewis Hamilton in the other Ferrari.  Peter details all three days at Suzuka in this podcast - and there's a bonus at the end as Mark Slade adds his take on the race.
