In this episode of the Fit For Golf Podcast I am joined by Dr Andy Galpin. Andy has a Bsc in Exercise Science, Msc in Human Movement Science, and PhD in Human Bioenergetics. He is now a full time professor in Cal State Fullerton, and director of the Center for Sport Performance.
Andy is not just an academic though. He is a high level athlete himself, is a strength and conditioning coach to dozens of professional athletes, and recently became a contributor to TPI for their "Power" modules.
It is safe to say Andy knows his stuff, and I was very happy to get an hour of his time to talk about physical training for golf.
Just before we get started, a quick reminder that Fit For Golf has its own App. It is currently being used by over 3000 golfers around the world, ranging all the way from PGA Tour winners, to high handicaps, to juniors just getting started, and seniors trying to combat father time.
There are programs for everyone and you can get a 1 month trial for just $6 by going to www.fitforgolf.blog /app, selecting monthly, and entering the code FFGTRIAL.
You will not find it in the app store, you must go to the website.
