Instead of holding on tight, maybe we need to let go. 

Lent is a season where we recognize our own morality. Embrace that we don't just make mistakes each time but we sin.  Jesus came while we were still sinners and He didn't wait for us to know we needed Him.  We can trust the Rescuer and receive His freedom.
