Your identity is how you think, feel, and act. It’s how you show up, and it determines your decisions, your expectations, and your priorities.
In short, your identity is your mindset.
Your identity doesn’t have anything to do with your title, how long you’ve been a consultant, or the awards you’ve earned.
In this episode, I describe the five common identities of direct sellers. I also talk about how to own your desired identity, how to release undesired identities, and how to assume the one you want.
When you align your identity with your goals, your business becomes much easier. If you don’t, you’ll struggle to reach your numbers, promote, and keep your title.
When you combine the stages of sponsoring with these identities, you’ll promote to leadership and continue to grow through the career plan because you’ll think, feel, and act like a leader.
Less than 10% of all direct sellers are leaders, and less than 10% of leaders promote beyond the first level of leadership.
Leaders get stuck at the first level because they show up in their business as sellers and not team builders, or they recruit hobbyists and wear themselves out trying to turn hobbyists into business builders.
I’m rewriting Elevate to help direct sellers assume the identity that will serve their businesses and goals. The All-New Elevate will include all the systems, tools, and mindset you need to build a business and team you love.
When you apply the systems, training, and coaching inside Elevate, you'll think, feel, and act like a successful direct seller and have the results to prove it.
