Tune in to this week’s podcast with Andrew, Josh, Ben & Webby to find out what Josh discovered on his crop tour in Denmark & Sweden, including a jaw-dropping view from outside Josh’s hotel window!
Market Report for w/c Monday 14th of August. This week’s market report discusses Andrew’s advice and predictions for oil seed, barley, wheat, and more. The weather has been challenging this harvest, especially in the North, and with the end of the harvest near, there are concerns for certain crops.
The European crop tour proves to be worthwhile for the Dewing Grain crew, with some Scandinavian maltsters beginning the tour in high spirits and leaving feeling deflated. The tour included spending half an hour at each farm, seeing different crops every day which does not look promising compared to UK crops.
The conversation swiftly moves over to discussions surrounding global affairs with India keeping their markets closed and still not exporting rice, the country also wants to buy 9 million tonnes of Russian wheat!
