This was a tough topic for me. When I first learned about my own disordered love style I was really resistant to what I was reading. I didn't see - for quite some time - that what I was doing was wrong. I certainly didn't see how it was hurtful to my wife.
We all fail at the commandment to love. God created us from love, and for love. Yet, instead of living out a true covenant-style love of complete and total mutual gift of selves, we close the doors to one piece or another. This created pain in our relationships - especially in our marriages.
I really invite you to come along with me on this episode.
