On today’s episode we discuss the recent remarks made by Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden on the Breakfast Club with Charlamagne tha God; specifically his comment that "If you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or for Trump, then you aint black", and what seemed to some to be a Democrat's entitlement to the black vote.

We typically offer conversation starters that you can use anywhere, and have stayed away from controversial topics as not being ideal "conversation starters."  However, given recent incidents of racial injustice and the killings of black men and women by law enforcement and white nationalists, and the national reactions to these events, we can all agree that some conversations are necessary and required, no matter how uncomfortable. Politics and race relations are certainly controversial and sensitive topics that can ignite intense feelings and emotions and even disagreement. However, the fear of offending someone cannot be the reason why we remain silent and not lend our voice to the issues, if we want to bring about meaningful change. Despite our quiet and more reserved demeanors, introverts are bold and reflective, and highly empathic. Many of us are willing to step outside of our comfort zones to speak on the most controversial issues that touch on the soul of people. And we encourage you to do so, especially now.
