The commonly referenced story of Jesus feeding thousands with a mere five loaves and two fish has in it a hidden question: who was it that had with them the empty baskets? There were, apparently, several people who came with a spirit of expectation. This is an attitude that we should mirror when we come into the house of God - that we are expecting to receive and take the Word home with us.
