Emilio Rivera is an American actor and comedian, best known for his roles in crime dramas and action films. Born on February 24, 1961, in San Antonio, Texas, and raised in Los Angeles, California, Rivera has built a career playing tough and intimidating characters, often portraying gang leaders, law enforcement officers, or enforcers.

He gained widespread recognition for his role as Marcus Álvarez, the leader of the Mayans Motorcycle Club, in Sons of Anarchy (2008–2014) and its spin-off Mayans M.C. (2018–2023). Rivera has also appeared in numerous films and TV shows, including Con Air (1997), Collateral (2004), High Crimes (2002), Z Nation, and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006).

Beyond acting, he has been open about his past struggles and uses his platform to inspire others. His performances, often rooted in authenticity and intensity, have made him a respected figure in Hollywood.
