MY RELATIONSHIP JOURNEY

I believe relationships can be our greatest teachers and healers - bringing up wounds we need to work through and also allowing us to connect intimately and shine a light on the areas we may think we have healed in when we haven’t actually at all. I am SO grateful for what every single relationship on my path has taught me. 

In todays episode I dive into my relationship journey, and all of the relationships i've been in up until this point in my life and how each one impacted me differently and was a catalyst for change in some way. Every single one was so different. From my first young love, to my second boyfriend which was the most toxic relationship ive been in - with all the things of abuse, drugs, substance addiction, porn addiction and trying to add in other partners, to my ‘safer’ relationships and my most impactful relationship being what I am navigating right now through my marriage and separation. 

I have done A LOT of self reflection to realize the role I played and how I attracted these partners into my life and how they were there to also serve as my greatest teachers… and throughout all of them I have found they all had a common theme of leading me back to me. For the first time since I started having boyfriends I am single with no backup plan and really learning to love and appreciate myself in a new way. I am enjoying it so much and also share about my journey back to my heart and really breaking down the walls and letting go of past hurts and resentments to experience love in a different way.. without attachment and it has been so freeing. 

also re-listening I realize I say UMM a lot so going to work on that LOL
