One of the most famous Marian Apparitions is celebrated bi-annually: The Feast of Our Lady of Fatima on May 13th, and the Miracle of the Sun or Miracle of Fatima every October 13th. Fatima is a small Portuguese town located between Lisbon and Porto, about 25 miles from the Atlantic Ocean. This small village suddenly became famous in 1917, when three young shepherds claimed that the Virgin Mary had appeared to them. Part 1 of 4.
