Today’s Guest is Terry Dussault owner and operator of Yellow Knife Consulting Services. Terry has been in the Construction safety industry for over 25 years. When most people think about safety, they think it is a barrier to production, that it slows things down and gets in the way of getting the job done. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. The fact of the matter is that proper training and implementation of safety systems increase productivity. Think about it, what takes longer? Identifying potential hazards in the workplace and eliminating or mitigating those hazards, or dealing with a loss time injury or loss of life due to a lack of proper safety? In this episode, Terry breaks down some of the reasons we implement safety in the shop and on the construction site.
