In this Ask Me Anything episode, I answer, “What’s the best way to deal with your upline when you feel like she doesn’t support you in the way you’d like?”

The person who asked this question gave me some background and acknowledged that she knows she doesn’t need an upline to be successful.

And that’s true, but it still hurts when you don’t get recognition or feel like you’re out of the loop.

In this episode, I give you possible explanations of why your upline doesn’t support you. I know those explanations don’t excuse her behavior, but sometimes it helps to get a different perspective. Sometimes, it takes the sting out of your hurt. 

And then, I give you five things you can do so that:

• Your upline’s lack of support stops bothering you.
• You can create a working relationship with your upline to get the information and training you want.
• Your wins and progress are still acknowledged and celebrated, even if not by your upline.
• You can apply the lesson in this situation to your leadership.
• You have the accountability and support you want, need, and deserve.

Your success is inevitable whether or not your upline is a part of it.
