One of the biggest dangers in the church is when we relegate a timeless God to being a God of the past, while ignoring His workings in the present and His plans for the future. The New Testament Jews were so focused on protecting their past that many of them missed out on Jesus, who was the present “I AM.” While we should thank God for past glories, we must not forget that He wants to take us from glory to glory.
